Detoxing the Body - Day 1

I just started a detox diet. And so far, so good if I do say so myself. Since I know that it’s impossible for me to actually stop eating starchy foods, I have limited myself to how much of it I can eat. This is my detox diet plan:

1. Eat food listed on this website: 

2. Eat starchy food in the mornings only.

3. Tell myself it’s a way of life not a diet.

For those who don’t know what a detox diet is, it is when one cleanses their body of the toxins of the earth. Our body has a lot of un-needed chemical waste that just stays in our bodies. Detoxing helps the body cleanse naturally, without the need of other chemicals. Detoxing can give you a better metabolism, healthier skin, a lighter body, weight loss, and more vitamins in your body!

This morning, I ate a chicken sandwich, for lunch I have packed an arugula salad with tomatoes, broccoli thingy, chicken breasts, and carrots with peanut vinaigrette. For snacks I have a banana, blueberries, and roasted almonds…since apparently, I’m allergic to raw nuts.
